Defined for Death – the series

September 17, 2009
Disclaimer: No insects or animals were harmed in the process of finding/using or shooting these images. The first fly was found already dead.

Last year, I took a fascinating photo of a fly – with stacked macro filters.

A few days ago, I shot a “Royale” to this image…

This fly is alive. Funny how the eyes reflect a maroonish red – just like how evil is portrayed in Hollywood Movies. (Now we know where they get inspiration from…)

I was quite lucky with the 2nd one as he/she/it was on my A3 pile of paper.

Enjoy.

Stereotyping Models

August 19, 2009

I asked some friends at school to model for my art
Project: Stereotypes of Crawford (my school)

Overall, the project went really well – I had 2 stereotypes for each gender (m/f) – due to time constrains, these were narrowed down to two instead of my planned 4.
No need to mention the stereotypes, scroll down and look for yourself.
